Terms of Use

Last updated: July 16, 2026

These are the terms for using Residently. We've kept them as plain as the law allows. By using Residently you agree to them.

What Residently is

Residently is a software tool. It does two things:

That is the entire service. Everything Residently produces is information and suggestion only.

What Residently is not

If you need advice on your immigration matter, consult a qualified, regulated immigration lawyer or adviser in the relevant jurisdiction.

About the AI review — read this

The review is produced by artificial intelligence. You must understand and accept the following:

No outcome is guaranteed. We do not promise, and cannot promise, that your application will be approved, approved within any period, or accepted at all. Any timeline shown in the product is an estimate drawn from published averages, not a commitment.

You are responsible for your application

Payments and refunds

The document review is a one-off flat fee, shown before you pay and charged via Stripe. You are paying for the review to be performed — not for a particular result, finding, score, or outcome. Government fees are paid by you, directly, to the relevant authority.

14-day money-back guarantee. You may request a full refund of the review fee for any reason within 14 days of purchase — email support@residently.ai from the address on your account. No questions, no forms.

Rejection guarantee. If (a) our review marked every document in your submitted set as passing, (b) the relevant authority then refused your application, and (c) the official refusal states a reason that is a defect in a document we reviewed and passed, we will refund your review fee in full. To claim, email us the official refusal notice within 60 days of its date. This guarantee covers document defects we reviewed and missed; it does not cover refusals for reasons outside the reviewed documents (for example eligibility, funds thresholds, security grounds, interview outcomes, or documents you did not submit to us).

If the review fails to run for technical reasons on our side, email us and we will refund it in full. These guarantees are in addition to, and do not limit, any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and everything it produces is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, nor for any refused, delayed, or withdrawn application, missed deadline, expired document, wasted government fee, travel or relocation cost, or lost opportunity, however caused.

We are not liable for the decisions or conduct of governments, consulates, authorities, or any third party.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.

Changes

If we change these terms materially, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
